Put the stellar stages below in the correct chronological order:
Match the above steps to the tracks. You should sketch the diagram in your notes and provide the number as
well as a description of what is going on inside the star at each step. Also
describe the physical appearance as well.

- How is degenerate material different from "normal" material?
- Why do planetary nebulae glow?
- Why does it take more energy to burn Helium into Carbon than to burn Hydrogen into Helium?
- Be able to describe each step in detail from main sequence to white dwarf of a solar mass star. Know what it is
going on inside the star, that is the main fuel source, where it is occuring, and the outward physical appearance.
